Festool mft/3 large drilling aid 4"x4" and 3/4" (imperial sizing for US)

For quick and hassle free creation of festool mft. 4"x4" is the imperial offset. Same as common accessories. The middle hole is optional - it is used for creating offset 3d printed You will need 3/4" drill, preferably forstner type. To get the first ones in the corners you use the half pegs to position the aid (1 is fixed to it and the other 1 is added as a separate peg). After that you secure the jig with clamps so that it does not move while you will be drilling Option A: Once you have the first hole you just move the jig, secure a peg on it and drill another one (still being supported on the edge of your board with the half peg). You can keep on going like this to get a full line and then just move onto the next one this time inserting the pegs into the freshly drilled holes. Once you have 2 holes (minimum) you can start moving downwards if you prefer just securing the jig on the holes that you made (do not forget the clamps) Option B: Should you require even more accuracy you can insert short pegs into the holes and use the little holes (5 mm) to mark the centers. Then you can take the pegs off and drill the 3/4" hole. Please bear in mind that 20 mm does not equal 3/4 inch so this jig is for making imperial sized mft top but not the metric one.
